Who we are

L2 Empire is a free, non commercial Lineage II fan server. Contact: an Account ticket on our Discord.

What we keep and why

AccountLogin name, password (stored hashed, never readable), email only if you give it (password recovery).

SecurityIP address and a hardware code made by the launcher (a one way hash, not your files or your name). It stops cheats, bots and a second client on the same IP.

GameYour characters, items and game actions. In game chat is logged to handle reports and keep the game fair.

ReportsWhat you send with .bug or in a Discord ticket, with your character name and place in game.

DiscordOnly if you use /link: your Discord ID next to your character, for rank roles and rewards.

WebsiteNo ads, no tracking, no analytics. One short session cookie on the register and My Account pages (security and login). The fonts load from Google Fonts.

What we never do

We never sell or share your data. We never ask for your password. Staff sees only what is needed to run the server.

Where and how long

Our servers are with OVH (game), Hostinger (website) and Backblaze (encrypted backups, EU). Backups are kept up to 30 days (database backups up to 12 months) and then deleted. Logs are kept only as long as they help with reports and cheaters. Your account stays until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can complain to your data protection authority (in Greece: dpa.gr). To delete your account, open an Account ticket with your login name. We may ask you to prove it is yours. A ban for cheating can be kept as a note (name, IP, hardware code) so the same person cannot come back.

Age

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

📜 Terms

Free fan server. L2 Empire is free and not related to NCSOFT. Lineage II is a trademark of NCSOFT.
No money inside. Nothing is for sale. Items, adena and characters have no real value and cannot be bought or sold for money (RMT = ban).
Your account is yours only. Do not share or sell it. Keep your password safe. We are not responsible for losses from a shared account.
Play fair. Cheats, bots, bug abuse, feeding and more than one client per IP are forbidden. The full rules are in our Discord and apply here too.
Launcher. The game is played only through the official launcher. It checks the game files and the security code described above.
Staff decisions. Bans and item removals for broken rules are final. You can appeal with a Ban Appeal ticket.
As it is. The server is offered as it is. It can go offline, be updated, reset (wipe) or closed. Nothing lost this way is paid back.
Changes. We may change these terms. The date on top shows the last change. Playing after a change means you accept it.
